The Dedham girls soccer team ended its regular season on a high note Monday, beating Norton 2-1 on the road to finish with an 11-5-2 record, according to Dedham High School Athletics.
MIAA tournament pairings will be released Thursday, Nov. 5, the athletic department said.
The win at Adams Field avenged an early-season loss. Dedham fell to Norton 1-2 at home on Sept. 25, according to the team's ArbiterLive schedule. This time the Marauders flipped the result on Norton's turf.
Monday's victory capped a strong closing stretch. Dedham won four of its last five games, a run that included a 4-0 home win over Millis on Oct. 26 and a 4-1 win over Hopedale on Oct. 30.
Against Hopedale, Alyssa Holton scored twice and Ava Landry added a goal in the first half alone, according to Dedham High School Athletics. Dedham added a fourth after the break to put the game away.
The lone blemish in the final week was a 0-3 loss at Medway on Oct. 28.
The Marauders now wait for Thursday's MIAA bracket release to learn their seeding, division and first-round opponent. With 11 wins in 18 games, Dedham enters the postseason with momentum after closing the Tri-Valley League schedule on its own terms.
