The Dedham Square Circle's free Concerts on the Green series continues Tuesday, July 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. on the Dedham Town Green at 600 High St. Live local and regional bands play every Tuesday evening through August, and the concerts are free and open to all.

Concertgoers can bring blankets or chairs. Free parking is available in the Keystone lot at 10 Eastern Ave. The organization encourages attendees to pick up dinner, ice cream, or drinks from Dedham Square restaurants and shops before or after the show.

The specific performer for the July 28 concert is posted weekly at dedhamsquarecircle.org.

The series is supported in part by a grant from the Dedham Cultural Council, a local agency funded by the Mass Cultural Council. The Dedham Square Circle, a nonprofit founded in 2006, runs more than 60 free events per year in the Square, according to its website.

Once the summer Tuesday schedule ends in August, the concert series shifts to Saturdays from 4 to 6 p.m. in the fall.
