The Charles River Public Health District Advisory Board meets Tuesday, July 28, at 9 a.m. via Zoom to review what the four-town shared public health arrangement accomplished in fiscal year 2026.
The district pools resources across Needham, Dover, Medfield, and Sherborn. Launched in 2021 with state Public Health Excellence Grant funding, it adds regional staff for nursing, environmental health, and program management without replacing any town's existing Health Department or Board of Health.
According to the agenda posted by Needham's Town Clerk's Office on Wednesday, July 23, the board will hear updates on the Medical Director program, a Community Health Needs Assessment, Public Health Nursing, Environmental Health, and Program Management. Each member community will report individually starting at 10:15 a.m.
Public comment is available at the start of the meeting. Residents can join via Zoom using Meeting ID 868 3939 4643 and Passcode 727229.
