Dedham residents can nominate a neighbor for the town's 2026 Public Service Recognition Award through 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26.

The town's Public Service Recognition Committee announced the nomination period on its website on Monday, Oct. 5. The annual award recognizes a Dedham resident or residents who have volunteered their time and energy to improve the community.

Nominations are submitted through an online form on the town's website. The committee asks nominators to describe the nominee's contributions and how they have affected Dedham, with as much detail as possible.

The winner will be honored at the Fall Annual Town Meeting in November.
